Bishop Edward A. Jones, Jr. is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and a product of the Chicago Public School System. Bishop Edward Jones, Jr. is a graduate of Columbia College–Chicago, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts, graduating in 1995. Bishop Edward Jones, Jr. also attended Keller Graduate School of Management–DeVry University, where he earned two master’s degrees: one in business administration (2004) and the other in human resource management (2011). In 2016, Bishop Edward Jones, Jr. was bestowed an honorary doctorate degree in divinity from Bible Artillery Training Seminary.

Bishop Edward Jones, Jr. started his ministerial journey in 1985 at the First Baptist Church of Chicago under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Jesse Brown, where he served faithfully as deacon. Bishop Edward Jones, Jr. later joined Trinity All Nations Church of God In Christ under late Reverend Dr. Doris Evelyn Davis, late Bishop Cary Henderson, and the late Reverend Dr. Mary Ann Bennett, where he served as deacon and armor-bearer.

 

God led Bishop Edward Jones, Jr. to the Pentecostal Church of Christ For All Nations under the leadership of Bishop Gregory St. James Dillard, where he was licensed to preach the Gospel. He was later ordained as an elder under the United Pentecostal Churches of Christ (Bishop J.D. Ellis II, presiding prelate) in 2010. He was also appointed to serve as an adjutant in the Midwest Diocese by Bishop Gregory St. James Dillard.

Currently, he serves as one of the executive pastors for Christ For Everyone Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Kenneth Franklin; as adjutant-general of Global Kingdom Fellowship, Inc; and was recently appointed to the office of overseer within the fellowship in 2020. In 2023, Overseer Jones Jr was elevated to the Office of the Bishop within the Koinonia Fellowship Gathering of Churches and currently serves as the Secretary-General.

Bishop Edward Jones, Jr. was recently elected as pastor of Now is the Time Ministry of Faith Church.
Bishop Edward Jones, Jr. is married to Lady Regan Jones. Together they have two beautiful children, Brittany and Brianna.
